Seminars
Seminars serve as a platform to bring people together and present ideas in a clear, scientific manner. Through presentations, complex topics are simplified, allowing participants to gain deeper understanding while engaging in questions and discussions that facilitate knowledge exchange and shape collective perspectives. Whether small or large, every seminar leaves a lasting impact. Kamdhenu Gaushala actively participates in such events across the country and also hosts seminars on its own premises to raise awareness about the importance of indigenous cows and promote traditional cow-rearing practices.
Visitors
At Kamdhenu Gaushala, distinguished guests, thought leaders, and members of the intellectual community regularly visit to engage with the practices of indigenous cow rearing. These visitors, often influential in shaping policies and social initiatives, gain a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving, promoting, and expanding traditional cow-rearing practices for the benefit of humanity. Their exposure to the knowledge and methods at the Gaushala inspires them to adopt and advocate these practices in broader society. Over time, such interactions are guiding new directions, with respected individuals contributing to strategies and initiatives that strengthen and expand indigenous cow conservation across India.
Gau Dan - Sacred Service
The history of indigenous cows in India is ancient and deeply rooted in our Sanatan traditions. Revered by sages and beloved by divine incarnations, these cows have been central to practices like village worship, cow donation (Godan), and preservation. To pass this legacy to the modern generation, Kamdhenu Gaushala conducts Godan ceremonies in its Yagya Shala, celebrating with the spirit of Mahakalyan and devotion, especially during Janmashtami. Families, including children, participate with reverence, witnessing and learning these sacred traditions firsthand. This practice not only preserves the ancient heritage but also instills respect and values for cows in future generations, ensuring that these time-honored customs remain alive and honored.
